NEW YORK (Thomson Financial) - TransCanada Corp. Tuesday said third-quarter comparable income was 309 million Canadian dollars, or 57 Canadian cents a share, beating the mean estimate of analysts polled by Thomson Financial of 52 Canadian cents a share.Net income was 324 million Canadian dollars, or 60 cents a share.Revenue for the Calgary, Alberta-based natural gas company was 2.21 billion Canadian dollars.In the year-ago period, the company posted comparable income of 243 million Canadian dollars, or 50 Canadian cents a share, on revenue of 1.85 billion Canadian dollars.
