Kemira appoints Harri Kerminen as new CEO |

HELSINKI (Thomson Financial) - Kemira said it has appointed Harri Kerminen as the chemical group's new chief executive from the beginning of next year, replacing Lasse Kurkilahti.Kerminen has been head of Kemira's pulp and paper unit since 2006, and before that held several positions within the company.Kurkilahti will continue in an advisory role with the company until April 2008, when his contract ends.He had joined Kemira from Elcoteq in spring 2004.james.etheridge@thomson.comje/rwCOPYRIGHTCopyright Thomson Financial News Limited 2007.
