(Repeating to clarify reserves 'virtually unchanged' rather than decreased)FRANKFURT (Thomson Financial) - The European Central Bank said net foreign currency reserves in the eurosystem remained virtually unchanged at 141.8 bln in the week to Oct 26 compared with the previous week.The ECB said banknotes in circulation within the eurosystem -- which comprises the ECB and the central banks of the euro zone countries -- fell by 0.9 bln eur to 637.8 bln.The gold position fell by 126 mln eur to 185.723 bln.christoph.steitz@thomson.comcs1/rwCOPYRIGHTCopyright Thomson Financial News Limited 2007.
