Dell files past due financial reports |

ROUND ROCK, Texas (AP) - Computer maker Dell Inc. said Tuesday it has filed its past due financial reports with the Securities and Exchange Commission.The reports contain restated financial information for fiscal years 2003 through 2006 and all the periods within those years, as well as the first quarter of fiscal 2007.The restatements stem from a yearlong internal accounting investigation.Dell also filed its annual report for fiscal 2007, an amended first-quarter report and reports for the second and third quarters of fiscal 2007 and first and second quarters of fiscal 2008.With the filing of these reports, Dell expects to become compliant with Nasdaq's continued listing requirements.Dell also said it plans to resume its share repurchase program shortly following the announcement of its third-quarter results.Dell shares rose 33 cents to close at $29.80.Copyright 2007 Associated Press.
