SCHAUMBURG, Ill. (AP) - Cell phone maker Motorola Inc. said Friday President and Chief Operating Officer Greg Brown will become chief executive when Ed Zander steps down from the post on Jan. 1.Zander, 60, will continue to serve as chairman until the company's annual shareholders meeting in May 2008.Brown joined the company in 2003 and has served as president and COO since March.
