Total System Services increases 2007-2008 earnings estimates |

NEW YORK (Thomson Financial) - Total System Services Inc. Friday said its fiscal 2007 earnings will increase 1% instead of the previously announced decline of 2% to 3%.Adjusted net income is expected to increase 25%, up from the previously announced guidance for growth between 20% and 22%.In fiscal 2008, net income is estimated to increase between 4% and 6% with total revenue increasing between 12% and 14%.The mean estimate of analysts polled by Thomson Financial is for fiscal 2007 earnings of $1.30 a share with revenue of $1.79 billion and fiscal 2008 earnings of $1.42 a share with revenue of $1.91 billion.Total System Services provides electronic payment processing and related services to financial and non-financial institutions.
