COPENHAGEN (AFX) - Danish pharmaceutical group Lundbeck's US partner Wyeth has presented positive phase 2 and phase 3 data on schizophrenia treatment Bifeprunox to US authorities, daily Boersen reported.Wyeth has already filed a registration application for Bifeprunox in the US, while Lundbeck, which has the European rights to the drug, first has to carry out a phase 3 study before it can apply for marketing rights for the drug in Europe, Boersen said.According to Boersen, analyst Annette Rye Larsen at Gudme Raaschou said Lundbeck's share price was unlikely to be affected by the news since it has not yet entered phase 3 studies.gustav.sandstrom@thomson.comgs/jfrCOPYRIGHTCopyright AFX News Limited 2007.
