ZURICH (Thomson Financial) - Novartis AG said a US federal court judge has extended a temporary restraining order stopping Teva Pharmaceutical Industries from shipping any further supplies of a generic version of Novartis' high blood pressure drug Lotrel.However, the court continues to allow the sale of generics already shipped to customers, the Swiss pharma group said.The restraining order has been extended until a court ruling on an earlier request from Novartis for a preliminary injunction to stop Teva from selling its generic version of Lotrel.This ruling is expected in the near future, Novartis said.Earlier this month Novarits said was reviewing the potential impact on 2007 results of Teva's battle to launch a generic version Lotrel in the US.johanna.treeck@thomson.comjmt/jfrCOPYRIGHTCopyright AFX News Limited 2007.
