(Recasts lead with Thaksin banned from politics for five years, adds judge's comment)BANGKOK (Thomson Financial) - Ousted Thai prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra has been banned from politics for five years, along with 110 executives from the Thai Rak Thai party that Thaksin founded, after a top court dissolved the party over electoral fraud.'The Thai Rak Thai party did not respect the rule of law despite the fact that they won elections twice,' said one of the judges ruling on the party.'Thai Rak Thai cannot exist as a political party, therefore the court orders to dissolve Thai Rak Thai party,' the judge added.A judge added: 'All of the Thai Rak Thai party executives at the time the wrongdoing was committed will be subject to the ban.
