EL SEGUNDO, Calif. (AP) - Superheroes such as 'Superman' and 'Batman' will fight crime in plastic form as toys produced by Mattel Inc. under a multiyear master toy agreement between the world's largest toymaker and DC Comics, a unit of Warner Bros.The toymaker already has the license for individual DC properties. The new deal, announced Friday, will expand the relationship, giving Mattel access to characters that have yet to be featured in big screen adaptations, such as 'The Green Lantern' and 'Aquaman.'Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.The agreement gives Mattel exclusive rights to all projects produced using DC characters. The toy company, based in El Segundo, will create toys across all its brands, including Hot Wheels, Radica, Fisher-Price, Tyco and Mattel Games.Warner Bros. is a unit of Time Warner Inc.Copyright 2007 Associated Press.
