MUNICH (Thomson Financial) - Siemens AG's IT solutions and services unit won a contract worth more than 60 mln eur from the British Broadcasting Corp to design, build and operate a new coding and mulitplexing infrastructure, the company said in a statement.The project will enable the BBC to accomplish its transition from analog to digital broadcasting.Siemens IT Solutions and Services will complete the project within two years and run it as a managed service until 2015, the statement said.christoph.steitz@thomson.comcs1/mas/cmrCOPYRIGHTCopyright AFX News Limited 2007.
