FRANKFURT (Thomson Financial) - Deutsche Lufthansa AG and Deutsche Post World Net AG's unit DHL filed for approval by the German Federal Cartel Office to set up a joint freight airline, according to the office's website.DHL could not be immediately reached for comment.A spokesman for Lufthansa Cargo declined to comment and said the company will disclose information on the matter 'shortly'.frederik.richter@thomson.comfr1/mas/ejpCOPYRIGHTCopyright AFX News Limited 2007.
