WASHINGTON (AP) - Software maker Adobe Systems Inc. spent about $156,000 in the first half of 2007 to lobby the federal government, according to a disclosure form.The company lobbied on patent reform and for federal spending to implement a program that would make state driver's licenses more secure and tamper resistant, according to the form posted online Monday by the Senate's public records office.The San Jose, Calif.-based company lobbied Congress, as well as the departments of Justice and Commerce.Under a federal law enacted in 1995, lobbyists are required to disclose activities that could influence members of the executive and legislative branches.
