EAST HILLS, N.Y. (AP) - Filtration-system maker Pall Corp. said on Friday it elected former utility company executive Cheryl Grise as a director who will bring special skills to the company's industrial business.Grise, 55, spent 27 years at Northeast Utilities, most recently serving as president of its utility group from 2001 through last June. In that role, Grise oversaw its main operating division, which included the Connecticut Light and Power Co., the Public Service Co. of New Hampshire, Western Massachusetts Electric Co. and Yankee Gas Co.Pall's industrial segment sells filters and other products to oil, gas and electricity producers.Her addition increases the number of directors to 12.Pall shares fell 2 cents to $38.11 in afterhours trading.Copyright 2007 Associated Press.
