Japan's JVC's Q3 net loss 1.45 bln yen vs profit 75 mln yen

TOKYO (XFN-ASIA) - Victor Co of Japan's (JVC's) results for the fiscal third quarter to December 2006:

Revenue - 205.1 bln yen vs 240.5 bln

Opg profit - 793 mln yen vs 1.5 bln

Current loss - 321 mln yen vs profit 127 mln

Net loss - 1.45 bln yen vs profit 75 mln

Loss per share - 5.71 yen vs EPS 0.30

Results for the nine months to December 2006:

Revenue - 576.3 bln yen vs 627.8 bln

Opg profit - 108 mln yen vs loss 2.2 bln

Current loss - 3.7 mln yen vs loss 8.3 mln

Net profit - 3.6 bln yen vs loss 15.2 bln

EPS - 14.07 yen vs loss per share 59.98

JVC gave the following unchanged forecasts for the fiscal year to March 2007:

Revenue - 830 bln yen

Current profit - 4 bln yen

Net profit - 2 bln yen
