Kimball sells Mexico plant equipment |

NEW YORK (AFX) - Furniture maker Kimball International Inc. said Wednesday it completed the sale of all production equipment located at its Juarez, Mexico facility for $600,000.Jasper, Ind.-based Kimball said in a regulatory filing the equipment was sold to individuals unrelated to the company.In September, the company said it planned to stop producing certain television cabinets and stands, affecting its Juarez, Mexico facility.Shares of Kimball International slid 11 cents to $24.61 in morning trading on the Nasdaq.Copyright 2006 Associated Press.
