MULHOUSE, France (AFX) - Peugeot will stop making the Peugeot 206 coupe-cabriolet at the end of February, according to management at the Mulhouse factory, which is the only plant making the 206CC.This means a fall in output of 100 cars per day in Mulhouse, said the CGT and FO trade unions at the factory. They said this will not hit permanent staff there. The Mulhouse plant currently makes 1,550 cars a day, mostly the Citroen C4.Since it was launched in 2000, 360,000 Peugeot 206CCs have been sold, the company said. Its successor, the 207 coupe-cabriolet, will be made in Madrid and marketed in France from the end of February.newsdesk@afxnews.comafp/jsa/lamCOPYRIGHTCopyright AFX News Limited 2006.
