WASHINGTON (AFX) - Auto parts supplier Delphi Corp. posted a $5.12 billion net loss in 2006, including a $461 million net loss in December, the company said Wednesday in a filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.Delphi, which has been in bankruptcy protection since October 2005 and is hoping to emerge from Chapter 11 this year, had net sales of $17.17 billion last year.The auto supplier is trying to reach an agreement with its unions, General Motors Corp. and a group of investors on a $3.4 billion reorganization plan.Copyright 2006 Associated Press.
