FRANKFURT (Thomson Financial) - The European Central Bank said that the weighted average interest rate on accepted bids at today's longer-term refinancing operation was 4.53 pct.The marginal rate -- the lowest rate at which bids were accepted -- was 4.45 pct.At the previous longer-term refi operation on Sept 26, the average rate was 4.63 pct and the marginal rate 4.50 pct.The ECB awarded 50 bln eur of funds at the new longer-term refi operation, the same amount as that leaving the market on the expiry of a previous longer-term refi.Bids were made at rates ranging from 4.00 pct to 4.90 pct, with some 77.43 pct of bids at the marginal rate being met.
