PARIS (Thomson Financial) - Share prices closed higher, driven by a rebound in bank stocks following reassuring comments from Germany's Deutsche Bank, and expectations of a further rate cut by the US Fed after European markets close.The CAC-40 index closed 44.02 points or 0.76 pct higher at 5,847.95.Among CAC-40 stocks, 31 closed higher and 8 closed lower.The euro was at 1.447 usd, compared to 1.4453 usd at midday.greg.keller@thomson.comhem/rw/gk1/jlcCOPYRIGHTCopyright Thomson Financial News Limited 2007.
