NEW YORK (Thomson Financial) - ManTech International Corp. reported third-quarter net income from continuing operations of $17.5 million, or 51 cents a share.The mean estimate of analysts surveyed by Thomson Financial was for earnings of 48 cents a share.Revenue rose to $383.4 million from $283.7 million in the same period a year ago, exceeding analyst forecasts of $375.4 million.The reported backlog at the end of September was $3.51 billion, up 30% from $2.71 billion at the same time a year ago.The Fairvax, Va. provider of security technology said it expects fourth-quarter ongoing earnings of 53 to 56 cents a share on revenue of $389 million to $404 million.
