SAN FRANCISCO (Thomson Financial) - Jones Lang LaSalle Inc. late Wednesday reported third-quarter net income of $46.5 million, or $1.38 a share, topping the $1.27 mean estimate of analysts polled by Thomson Financial.In the same period of 2006, net income was $24.7 million, or 73 cents a share.Revenue for the quarter ended Sept. 30 rose 35% to $624.2 million, the Chicago-based provider of real estate and investment management services said.Operating income increased 73% from last year to $64.5 million.Jones Lang LaSalle also said it is raising its semi-annual dividend 43% to 50 cents from 35 cents, payable Dec. 14 to holders of record as of Nov. 15.The company's shares closed the regular session up 1.3% at $95.33.Gabriel MadwaygmCOPYRIGHTCopyright Thomson Financial News Limited 2007.
