Vonage, Nortel agree in principal to settle patent litigation |

NEW YORK (Thomson Financial) - Vonage Holdings Corp. and Nortel Networks Corp. Monday agreed in principle to end the litigation pending between them.The proposed settlement includes a limited cross license to three Nortel and three Vonage patents and wouldn't require any monetary payments by either party.Claims relating to past damages and remaining patents would be dismissed without prejudice.Vonage is a Holmdel, N.J.-based provider of broadband voice-over-Internet protocol services to residential and small home office customers.
