SAN FRANCISCO (Thomson Financial) - GenTek Inc. said Monday its General Chemical LLC subsidiary has acquired Bay Chemical and Supply Co., a producer of water treatment chemicals based in Odem, Texas, for $7 million.Parsippany, N.J.-based GenTek said the deal expands its customer base in the Texas market and adds new products to its portfolio of water treatment chemicals.Shares of GenTek fell 26 cents to $28.85.Gabriel MadwaygmCOPYRIGHTCopyright Thomson Financial News Limited 2007.
