VeriFone says restatement process ongoing; expects filings to be delayed |

SAN FRANCISCO (Thomson Financial) - VeriFone Holdings Inc. late Monday said its previously disclosed restatement of financial results for the first three quarters of its fiscal year ended Oct. 31, 2007, is ongoing and isn't expected to be completed prior to March 2008.The San Jose, Calif.-based company also said it filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission to extend the due date for its annual report on Form 10-K to Jan. 14, 2008.
