WASHINGTON (AP) - The U.S. Navy on Friday awarded aerospace giant Boeing Co.'s McDonnell Douglas unit a $25 million contract modification for work on aircraft weapons systems.McDonnell Douglas will provide engineering, technical, and material support for all variants of the F/A-18 and EA-18G fighter jets' weapons systems.Work is expected to be completed in December, according to the Navy.Shares of Boeing dropped 85 cents to close at $88.91 on the New York Stock Exchange.Copyright 2007 Associated Press.
