WASHINGTON (AP) - The U.S. Navy on Friday awarded a unit of L-3 Communications Holdings Inc. a $22.9 million contract modification to exercise options for landing craft air cushions that allow the Navy and Marine Corps to perform amphibious assaults.Titan Corp. will perform the work, which is expected to completed by March 2009, in Norfolk, Va., according to the Navy.Shares of L-3 dropped 13 cents to close at $87.47 on the New York Stock Exchange.Copyright 2007 Associated Press.
