WASHINGTON (AP) - The U.S. Navy on Friday awarded a more than $52.5 million order to a unit of diversified manufacturer Textron Inc. for spare parts for the V-22 Osprey, a tilt-rotor, vertical takeoff and landing aircraft.Bell Helicopter will perform the work, which is expected to be completed by March 2009, in Hurst, Texas, according to the Navy.Shares of Textron dropped 29 cents to close at $89.80 on the New York Stock Exchange.Copyright 2007 Associated Press.
