STAMFORD, Conn. (AP) - Pitney Bowes Inc., a mail and document-managing company, said Thursday it acquired professional-services company Digital Cement Inc. for $40 million in cash.Pitney Bowes made an initial investment of $12 million in Digital Cement in 2006 and had a minority ownership position in the company, as well as a strategic partnership to market its services.Digital Cement will become part of Pitney Bowes' marketing services unit.The acquisition allows the company to offer customers more mailing and marketing services.Copyright 2007 Associated Press.
