MILAN (AFX) - Mediobanca SpA's shareholders reinstated Cesare Geronzi as deputy chairman of the bank following his suspension last December after conviction in a court case.The shareholder meeting also reinstated Roberto Colaninno as a Mediobanca independent board member.Geronzi and Colaninno were convicted in the Bertelli-Bagaglino-Italcase bankruptcy case by a Brescia court.Last week Mediobanca's controlling shareholder pact voted in favour of the reinstatement of the two men.stephen.jewkes@thomson.comsj/gpCOPYRIGHTCopyright AFX News Limited 2006.
