Friedman Billings declares dividend

ARLINGTON, Va. (AP) - Investment banking firm Friedman, Billing, Ramsey Group Inc. on Wednesday said its board of directors declared a regular quarterly dividend of five cents per share.

The new dividend is payable on April 30 to shareholders of record at March 30.

Separately, the company said it will hold its annual shareholders meeting on June 7.

Shares of Friedman, Billings, Ramsey dropped 12 cents to $5.67 in aftermarket trading, after gaining 38 cents, or 7 percent, to close at $5.80 on the New York Stock Exchange.
