Japan Feb trade figures with Asia, US and EU

TOKYO (XFN-ASIA) - The Ministry of Finance provided the following details on Japan's trade with the following markets in February, with year-on-year comparisons:

Asia:

Surplus - 464.37 bln yen, down 38.0 pct

Exports - 2.92 trln yen, up 6.4 pct

Imports - 2.46 trln yen, up 23.0 pct

US:

Surplus - 806.77 bln yen, up 9.2 pct

Exports - 1.42 trln yen, up 7.0 pct

Imports - 616.78 bln yen, up 4.2 pct

EU:

Surplus - 446.27 bln yen, up 33.3 pct

Exports - 1.01 trln yen, up 16.6 pct

Imports - 566.29 bln yen, up 6.1 pct
