Skoda and Volkswagen to develop components supply network in India |

MUMBAI (AFX) - Skoda India and Volkswagen AG will develop a local vendor base to supply components for its Indian operations, reported the Economic Times, citing SkodaIndia managing director Karsten Bogun.Skoda is planning to change its Indian strategy to full-scale manufacturing from an assembly operation and will also start to export fully built cars to Europe from its Indian facility, he said.'There will be synergies... and we are quite likely to work together on developing a strong vendor base here.
