Quebecor swings to Q4 net loss hit by printing unit |

MONTREAL (AFX) - Canadian media group Quebecor Inc said it swung to a fourth quarter net loss of 80.8 mln cad or 1.26 cad a share from a profit of 14.5 mln cad or 0.23 cad a share a year earlier, amid problems at its printing division.Sales fell to 2.67 bln cad from 2.68 bln, the company said in a statement.The company blamed the drop on problems at its Quebecor World unit, which is currently retooling its printing plants with newer technology.Investments in the retooling program in North America and Europe totalled 424 mln usd, Quebecor said.newsdesk@afxnews.comafp/jlwCOPYRIGHTCopyright AFX News Limited 2007.
