PARIS (AFX) - The Children's Investment Fund has further reduced its holding its Euronext NV, to 7.28 pct from 8 pct, it said in a notification to bourse regulator AMF.TCI unit sold 284,036 shares on Friday, 30,115 on Monday and 513,824 on Tuesday, at prices of 97.08, 97.03 and 96.28 eur, according to transactions published on the AMF website.TCI, which held 9.25 pct at the start of the month, carried out disposals on Jan 9, 10 and 11, reducing its holding to 8 pct.The fund was an outspoken opponent of the merger which has been agreed between Euronext and NYSE Group Inc.At 1.02 pm, Euronext shares were up 0.26 pct at 96.60 eur.Andrew.Newby@Thomson.comafp/anCOPYRIGHTCopyright AFX News Limited 2006.
