Italian president to announce decision tomorrow on government crisis |

ROME (AFX) - President Giorgio Napolitano said he will make an announcement tomorrow about how to resolve the Italian political crisis sparked by the resignation of Prime Minister Romano Prodi.'This evening I will try to rethink the arguments and ideas, and tomorrow morning I will communicate the decision it seems I should take,' Napolitano said in brief televised remarks.Napolitano has conducted two days of consultations with political leaders to determine whether Prodi has the necessary support to continue in office, after the foreign policy defeat in the Senate on Wednesday that promoted the prime minister to tender his resignation.'These have been two long and very full days,' said Napolitano, 81.newsdesk@afxnews.comafp/cmlCOPYRIGHTCopyright AFX News Limited 2007.
