LONDON (Thomson Financial) - The sale of business.com, a search engine used by businesses to find products and services, could fetch between 300-400 mln usd, the Wall Street Journal reported.The newspaper, citing people familiar with the matter, said the closely held business is expected to attract interest from a host of media companies such as Dow Jones & Co and New York Times Co.The company made Ebitda of 15 mln usd in 2007 and its online traffic increased 50 pct year on year in the first quarter.Entrepreneurs Jake Winebaum and Sky Dayton were widely mocked when they spent 7.5 mln usd to buy the domain name in 1999, the highest price paid at the time.tf.TFN-Europe_newsdesk@thomson.comwjCOPYRIGHTCopyright AFX News Limited 2007.
