AMSTERDAM (AFX) - Brewer Groslch NV has reached an agreement with trade union FNV Bondgenoten, warding off a threatened strike in the Netherlands in a dispute over wage demands.Grolsch said it had reached an agreement with the union granting workers a 4.5 pct wage rise over 16 months in a workplace agreement ranging from Jan 1 2007 to July 1 2008.Earlier, the union had threatened strike action on Wednesday, raising the possibility of a 24-hour walkout at Grolsch's only Dutch brewery.aaron.gray-block@thomson.comagb/rwCOPYRIGHTCopyright AFX News Limited 2007.
