Aspen Insurance names Jones chairman

NEW YORK (AP) - Aspen Insurance Holdings Ltd., a Bermuda-based provider of property and casualty insurance and reinsurance, said Wednesday that Chairman Paul Myners is retiring from the board and all subsidiaries, effective May 2 after its annual general meeting.

The company named board member Glyn Jones, 54, to succeed Myners, 57.

Myners had served as chairman since Aspen's founding in 2002.

Shares of Aspen Insurance Holdings added 4 cents to $26.34 in afternoon trading on the New York Stock Exchange.
