Carlisle Group FY pretax profit more than doubles on organic growth |

LONDON (Thomson Financial) - Carlisle Group Ltd said its pretax profit for the year to March 31 more than doubled from last year, driven by organic growth and improved performance in both staffing and support services.The staffing company said its full-year pretax profit increased to 5.4 mln stg from 2.1 mln, while turnover rose to 369.5 mln stg from 349.3 mln.For the fourth quarter, Carlisle Group returned to a pretax profit of 1.6 mln stg from a loss of 0.4 mln a year earlier, while turnover grew to 94.6 mln stg from 84.1 mln.TFN.newsdesk@thomson.combsu/tsm/jfrCOPYRIGHTCopyright AFX News Limited 2007.
