Renault Nissan 2006 combined sales 5.911 mln vehicles, down 3.6 pct

TOKYO (XFN-ASIA) - Renault SA and Nissan Motor Co together sold 5.911 mln

vehicles last year, 3.6 pct fewer than in 2005, but retaining their combined

position as the world's fourth largest automaker by number of vehicles sold, the

companies said.

Japan Dec auto production up 7.9 pct year-on-year
