Impregilo kidnapped technicians freed; to return to Italy tomorrow

MILAN (AFX) - Impregilo SpA confirmed that two of its technicians that were kidnapped in Nigeria last week have been freed and will return to Italy tomorrow.

'The foreign ministry is taking care of bringing them back home. They are well and we are very pleased for the positive outcome of the affair,' an Impregilo spokesman said.

The two Italians, Lucio Moro and Luciano Passarin, were kidnapped last week during an armed conflict 40 kilometres from Port Harcourt in the Niger Delta.
