FRANKFURT (Thomson Financial) - Deutsche Lufthansa AG's Technik unit said it won a ten-year contract worth 250 mln usd with start-up no-frills airline Virgin America Inc, to provide technical support and maintenance.'We will employ up to 20 staff members seven days a week and around the clock to ensure a smooth flight operation,' said Lufthansa Technik's head of component servicing Johannes Bussman.'The successful growth of Virgin America will put more new jobs in sight.'patrizia.kokot@thomson.compk/mas/jlcCOPYRIGHTCopyright AFX News Limited 2007.
