WASHINGTON (AP) - The Internal Revenue Service is seeking applicants from businesses with assets greater than $10 million to fill two slots on the Electronic Tax Administration Advisory Committee.

The 13-member ETAAC is designed to monitor the public's perception of electronic tax administration activities supporting the goal that paperless filing is the 'preferred and most convenient method of filing tax and information returns,' the IRS said in a statement released Thursday.

The group, whose current membership includes executives from International Business Machines Corp., Verizon Communications Inc., Oracle Corp., Intuit Inc. and H&R Block Inc., also provides an annual report to Congress on IRS progress related to electronic filings.

Those interested can submit a resume and a completed application form via e-mail at ETAAC@irs.gov. For more information visit http://www.irs.gov.
