ZURICH (AFX) - Holcim Ltd expects to achive substantial organic growth over the next few years as the cement maker continues to expand its production capacity, chief executive Markus Akermann said.With an additional cement capacity of 25 mln tonnes, becoming operational between 2007-2010, operational EBITDA will be boosted by around 650 mln sfr annualy by 2012.However, the expansion, likely to cost about 3.4 bln sfr over the next three years, will not be financed by a capital hike, Akermann noted.Akermann also said that Holcim plans to acquire all outstanding shares of Ambuja Cement India (ACIL) it does not already own, after hiking its stake by 11 pct to 78 pct yesterday.afx.zurich@afxnews.comat/rfwCOPYRIGHTCopyright AFX News Limited 2007.
