AFG Arbonia-Forster-Holding plans 108 mln sfr capital hike

ZURICH (Thomson Financial) - AFG Arbonia-Forster-Holding AG said it will seek shareholder authorisation at today's AGM for a 108 mln sfr capital hike, equivalent to 25 pct of the Swiss industrial materials supplier's existing equity.

The offer will include a one-for-eight rights issue, for which subscriptions will run from April 25 to May 3.

Proceeds will be used to further expand AFG and to guarantee financial flexibility for future growth, the company said in a statement.
