Greek Fourlis Q1 net profit rises 191.7 pct to 12 mln eur on solid sales |

ATHENS (Thomson Financial) - Greek household and sporting goods retailer Fourlis said that first quarter net profits rose 191.7 pct year-on-year to 12 mln eur on solid sales growth.Fourlis' turnover in Q1 2007 rose 35.4 pct year-on-year to 125.6 mln eur while EBITDA jumped 121 pct to 20.5 mln eur. EBITDA includes a 7.01 mln eur one-off gain derived from the sale of its 10 pct stake in Kostovoulos.Its IKEA franchise saw Q1 sales growth of 30 pct to 50.2 mln eur.
