COPENHAGEN (Thomson Financial) - Danish shares were lower in midmorning trade along with the development on other European markets following a sharp downturn among Chinese stocks, dealers said.At 10.35 am, the OMXC20 index was down 5.07 points at 494.68 and the OMXCB Benchmark index shed 4.71 points to 477.39.AP Moller Maersk was down 1,100 dkr at 66,300. The group's Odense Steel Shipyard said it has sold Estonian manufacturer of steel structures and components Balti ES to Finland's Cargotec for an undisclosed sum.NKT Holding gained 6.00 dkr to 538.00 as ABN Amro initiated coverage of the group with a 'buy' rating.FL Smidth was down 7.00 dkr at 441.50 ahead of its first quarter report due to be released later today.ALK Abello shed 16.00 dkr to 1,212.00. The group said it has appointed Jorgen Damsbro Andersen new executive vice president of business operations and international marketing.Andersen will take up his position at November 1 at latest, the group added.Bang & Olufsen fell 9.00 dkr to 704.00.
