AMSTERDAM (Thomson Financial) - Heineken NV said Group Commerce Director Peter van Campen will leave the company to pursue other career opportunities following a difference of opinion with CEO Jean-Francois van Boxmeer.Van Campen's departure will be effective from 1 July and the Dutch brewer said a successor will be named shortly. In a statement, Heineken CEO van Boxmeer thanked Van Campen for a 'significant contribution' he made to the business over the past 15 years, especially his efforts in professionalising the company's commercial approach.'However, given some differing views that we both acknowledge, we have mutually agreed to part company,' Van Boxmeer said.Van Campen joined Heineken in 1992 and was appointed group commerce director and became a member of the Heineken NV executive committee in October 2005.Aaron Gray-Block; aaron.gray-block@thomson.comagb/lamCOPYRIGHTCopyright AFX News Limited 2007.
