General Dynamics unit wins German satellite contract worth up to 30 mln usd

LONDON (AFX) - General Dynamics Corp said its C4 Systems unit has won a contract to supply antennas and radio support equipment to ND SatCom Defence GmbH of Germany.

The contract will be worth around 30 mln usd if all options are exercised through to 2014, it said.

The equipment will be used for the Germans armed forces' SATCOMBw Step 2 programme, which is due to be fully operational by 2009.
